OUR "LATE-NIGHT" PARTIES 

(NACHT-VERKEHR)

Our regular 'Late-night' parties take place on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Doors open at 9 p.m. and, depending on the number of guests, the party comes to an end around 3 a.m. on the Sunday morning. You can have a relaxed chat with other guests at the bar or in the café area and there is more than enough space, spread out over three levels, to get to know each other better, just the two of you, or in larger groups. Members of staff are not just there to top up the bowls of condoms and lube, they also fully - and physically - participate in the parties thereby ensuring the well-being of our guests (intensive customer care).

OUR "LATE-NIGHT" PARTIES+

There is still too much discrimination against HIV-positive people and people with AIDS, especially in the sexual context of sex parties, dark rooms, etc. In order to overcome prejudice and to promote a confident interaction with HIV and AIDS, since the club first opened we have held our 'Late-night parties + (previously called 'Positive' parties) on the first, third (and sometimes the fifth) Saturday of every month.

These are gay parties for positive guys (and their friends) at Ajpnia. There are not barebacking parties. There are also not only for positive guys. The idea behind these parties is to offer an evening when you can freely and openly pop a pill, free from having to come up with an excuse for a stay in hospital or explain why you haven't been out on the scene for a while. The format of these 'Late-night' parties + is the same as for our 'Late-night' parties.

OUR "AFTER-WORK" PARTIES

(FEIERABEND-VERKEHR)

You know the feeling ... you have finally finished work for the day and are really longing to wind down and have a break from the daily grind. But it's late in the evening before the first shops, bars and clubs open where you can really relax; in fact it's a bit too late and when they do open it's almost time when you should be thinking about going to bed so that you will be fit again for the following day.

It's a problem, we know, but having talked things over at length with numerous guests we, here at Ajpnia, think we have found the right solution: our 'After-work' parties which take place every Wednesday. Right, first go home, shower and change ... Wrong! The right thing to do is come to Ajpnia, get undressed, have a shower and then you can start to relax ... That sounds more like it, doesn't it? And our 'After-work' parties get underway as early as 7 p.m. And so that you are completely relaxed and fully rested for the following day the party is over by 1 a.m. on Thursday at the latest - at least some of us have an early start the following day! The format of our 'After-work' parties is the same for our 'Late-night' parties.
